Coravin Vinitas®
Coravin Vinitas® system uses a stream of pure argon or nitrogen gas to extract wine or spirits from a source bottle or vessel to dispense into 100ml Sample Bottles.
This proprietary technology creates a controlled, oxygen-free environment to ensure that each Sample Bottle is perfectly preserved for up to 12 months.

Convert up to 90 Sample Bottles in an hour and fractionalize an average of 600 Sample Bottles per day. Four individual Bays maintain continuous workflow and fast fractionalizing.
Adjustable Bottle Adapters
Coravin Vinitas™ bottle adapters seal against oxygen and fit various bottle neck sizes. Fractionalize from any type of source container, including standard and large formats, kegs, tanks, barrels, and wine bags.
Motorized System
Coravin Vinitas™ features a durable Coravin Needle made of stainless steel with a nonstick coating for long-lasting use.
Unique Gas Dispensing Algorithm
Our system is designed with specially selected low-permeability tubing, ensuring that the wine's signature aromas and flavors are not impacted while also fully eliminating any oxygen in the Sample Bottle.

How Coravin Vinitas® Works
Coravin Vinitas® Sample Bottles
The Sample Bottle, which contains Coravin Enoloq™ technology, is a key component of Coravin’s proprietary mobile system for transferring wine or spirits from a source container to a Sample Bottle without exposure to air.
Using a novel bottle with a septum and liner, Coravin Vinitas™ eliminates oxygen from the Sample Bottle and fills it with wine or spirits.

Coravin Vinitas® Sensory & Lab Testing
Coravin Vinitas® underwent intensive lab and sensory testing for over 18 months with the expertise of our in-house team, including engineers, a sommelier advisor, and the founder and inventor of Coravin, Greg Lambrecht. We also collaborated with beta partners in the winery, retailer, and wine school channels to ensure the system met industry needs.
To truly put Coravin Vinitas™ to the test, we chose delicate wines that are highly sensitive to oxidation. Our results were impressive: We found that lighter-bodied wines preserve for up to 10 months, while more robust, full-bodied wines last for up to 12 months.
Third-Party Lab Testing
To validate our in-house lab findings, Coravin conducted lab testing in collaboration with industry-trusted third-party labs, AWRI and ETS Labs. These ongoing testing efforts will continue through the end of 2023, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our results.
